The indian actress is set to play Phaedra, an oracle priestess who joins Theseus on his quest in the new Immortals 2011 movie.

It will be a 3D action adventure film directed by Tarsem Singh and starring Henry Cavill, Freida Pinto, and the legend Mickey Rourke who has been getting lots of villian roles lately.

Interestingly enough the film was previously named Dawn of War and War of the Gods before being officially named Immortals,

it could be because it is not exactly based on the Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur and the Titanomachy but comes close.

The story line is about after the Titanomachy, the Titan Hyperion played by actor Mickey Rourke declares war on humanity.

When he searches for the Epirus Bow, a legendary weapon created by the war god Ares played by actor Daniel Sharman.

He finds that it will allow him to free the rest of the Titans from Tartarus and take revenge on the Olympians. This is significant because the olympians are the ones who brought down his empire.

Zeus decides to choose Theseus he he sees that the gods are unable to take a side in the war between Hyperion and humanity.

As it turns out Theseus played by actor Henry Cavill must protect his homeland and save the gods along with priestess Phaedra played by actress Freida Pinto along with a slave played by actor Stephen Dorff.
