How you can make money just by sending faxes from home. Some times what we are looking for is right in front of us. I will share with you some tips that are easily done from home with little cost to you.
Many of the items you already possess and if you like to talk to business owners than it will be an easy transition for stay at home moms, students, retirees or disabled displaced workers.
This is not just a hypothetical situation but something that has been done before with great success.
The items you will need is a telephone, fax machine and good customer service skills.
The nice thing about this type of work is that you can set your own schedule and be your own boss. You determine how many shops or small businesses you want to contact each day.
It will not require face to face meeting unless you want to, you can do everything from your laptop or telephone.
The fax machine allows you to print and send coupons, flyers and weekly specials to those who subscribe to receive the information.

Set your own schedule be the boss
Now what about being able to use your knowledge of your local area to your benefit.
Well I will tell you exactly how to do it.
- First look around your own city - Have you noticed local small business owners opening up their own cafes, sandwich shops and burger joints. I have. I actually have a Michaels Burgers, Tinas Burgers and Georges Burgers all with in a few blocks of each other. Then there are coffee and Bagel shops.
- Go inside one of these businesses and ask to see their lunch menu. Then ask if they fax the lunch specials to the businesses in the area. Now here is your opportunity.
- Let them know that you would gladly offer your services and that you will fax their daily lunch specials to the local businesses in the area.
- Negotiate an agreeable rate and then go to the next shop and do the same thing.
This technique can work with all types of businesses and not just restaurants, you could contact hotels,print shops, or pet stores, because all types of companies need more customers and you can be the mediator helping them get more people walking through the door.

Create your own service from home
Word of mouth is another great way to get clients. Now once you have at least 5 or 10 shops agreeing to pay you to fax their lunch specials to offices in your area the next thing you will want to do is:
- Go to office buildings and speak with the office workers, let them know that you are offering a free service to them, you will send them a fax everyday of the lunch specials from their favorite restraunts and cafe's in the area.
- Let them know which ones they will be and emphasize how this will save them time and make it easier for them to decide on where to go for lunch.
Now if your really creative you can tell them that you would be willing to pick up and deliver their lunch orders for a small fee. Not bad.
Remember you can do all of this by phone or in the mail, just make sure you get the right contact person to send the introduction letter to.
Send a letter, email them or call them on the phone and let them know what your personal service provides.
There are also places online that allow you to set up a profile to offer services to your local community.
One place is called thumbtack.com which is a marketplace for local services making it easier to buy and sell services.
It also can open the door for other services such as concierge or marketing services for local business owners.

Just finished my website. Now on to phase 2..contacting via phone, businesses in each area. Goal sign up at least 100 businesses in each area to receive the daily lunch specials fax sheet. 10 restaurants to a fax sheet.
Starting with 10 restaurants first in one area. When that is running smooth, move on to the next 10.
Phase3: making initial contact with restaurant owners/managers informing them of my new free service to the area and setting up appointment if interested in being one of the select few on the fax sheet list.
I have had overwhelming response so far from businesses willing to accept a daily free fax.
The secret? Find a need in your area and fill it. Be creative not competitive.
Interesting creative service. But how much $ is a service like that worth charging restaurant owners without being too unrealistic you want to be fair. It can make or break your your business.
