- The data on your computer is stored in its memory this is electronic storage for all your information.
- Your hard drive in your CPU has data files on it, so when you take it to a data recovery specialist they can look at the master file table to find out all the bits of data that are on the drive.
- They also can attempt to rebuild the data on the drive by hand by recreating the master boot record (MBR). To find out how Recovery Specialist do it check out: http://www.computerworld.com/
- It is important to backup your files occasionally so as to easily access them later in case of a fire or water damage.
- On the Microsoft website: www.microsoft.com/protect/yourself/data/what.mspx
They give suggestions on what types of files you may want to backup.
Now that you have some options, the next time you accidently delete your e-mail address book you won't stress out over it so much.

This is a good information.
I had encountered this scenario before when I accidentally formatted the wrong drive but gladly able to recover some data using filescavenger and getdataback software. However if you have overlapped the previous data, like you formatted and installed new windows in the drive then filescavenger and getdataback will not do any good.
But i think easyundelete will do a great job on it. Thanks for putting it here.
Thanks BB for sharing.
RA, very very useful. I'm kind of a moron and go on huge deleting sprees, then regret it. Great info. :)
Thanks, I am glad you like it.
