Choosing a Style for Your Hair

First it is important to know the difference between scene and emo hair.

Over the last few years the trendy haircut has become really popular causing those who are unfamiliar with the fashion to get confused.

It is a subculture that has blasted on to the mainstream due to the internet. Many times bloggers and enthusiasts will say that scene hair is emo hair.

Clothing styles often change and that is what has happened with emo hair. The look of glam and emo is what makes this style so popular.

There are similarities and differences as seen in photos on the web. The use of bright colors and hair extensions made the most difference.

When it comes to using lots of hair products scene hair is number one, also the maintenance is higher requiring hair teasing, multiple colors and a home haircut.

You may have noticed the hairspray and long straight strands of hair mixed in with the short razor cut spikes.

Usually the most noticeable change is the length of the bang fringes which are usually pushed to the side or swept over the eyes.

Its not just a hairstyle it is a way of life and a attitude. Those who try to imitate the scene emo look just to be trendy usually miss the real meaning behind the style.

Celebrity scene hair has made the look more mainstream as well as many cover bands.

Now you can go anywhere online and see videos or blogs dedicated to the subculture.

I just have to clarify that this is NOT emo! This is scene for anyone who does not already know. "A THOUSAND HEARTBEATS" this includes you. I wouldn't advise you to call anyone who does their hair like this "emo" because it is A) not always what they are and B) stereotypical. Please don't ever make this mistake again.
