Michael Jackson is the most sought after and most collectible celebrity of all time and John Branca along with John McClain, are the executors of the Estate of Michael Jackson.
So the contents of neverland went up for auction in Beverly Hilton Hotel, the more than 2,000 items consisted of costumes, private art, furnishings and more.
As you are probably aware the astonishing collection of objects in Michael Jacksons home included pieces made of bronze, marble and gold which I would imagine are worth a high value considering the rising price of precious metals.
The king of pop had suits of armour, custom made crowns and the a cataloguing of these items took two months worth of intensive work.
The 38 acres of estate held bronze sculptures. Cherubs and Roman Emperors was the theme that decorated the grounds.

Neverland Valley Ranch formerly the Sycamore Valley Ranch is a developed property in Santa Barbara County, California, where Michael Jackson lived from 1988 to 2005. The name came from the fantasy island in the story of Peter Pan, a boy who never grows up.
Interestingly the ranch is located about five miles north of unincorporated Los Olivos, and about eight miles north of the town of Santa Ynez.
According to the Santa Barbara County Assessor's office the ranch is approximately 3000 acres. Currently the location is owned by the Sycamore Valley Ranch Company, LLC.

People came from around world to purchase a piece of the legacy Michael left behind, the Swarovski crystal studded glove he wore on his 1984 Victory Tour was auctioned off for $190,000 by Darren Julien of Julien's Auctions, who ran the auction at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
A pair of Jackson's stage-worn loafers went for $90,000, also the custom jacket Michael wore on his nterview with Barbara Walters sold for $120,000.
Along with Michael Jacksons handmade high end luxury furniture for a Kent residence MJ was going to be staying at during his tour, there were signed "Beat it" Jacket and signed "Bad" lyrics. Many were able to bid on items at the Julien's Auctions Music Icons that runs every year.
There was 18th and 19th century art along with vintage video game machines, are mentioned in an article from the Guardian about the sale of the century they mention about "books on Disney, the Three Stooges, Peter Pan and Alfred Hitchcock, as well as a collection of black history books, including the autobiography of Malcolm X. along with a selection of his own stage costumes, dating back from the days of the Jackson 5 through to the present"

Reports suggest that the value of Sony ATV Music Publishing is estimated to be worth as much as $1.5 billion.
According to Sony Music there has been more than 31 million Jackson albums sold worldwide since the iconic pop star died.

I enjoyed the reviewing of the fame of one of the greatest entertainers of our time. He rose to the highest of all entertainers and he will never be replaced. He had so much talent and it was God given and he appealed to people around the world.
