With the success of Gran City Pop, Rubio performed at award shows. Rubio's big come back took place in the month of April at the Billboard Latin Music Awards where Rubio performed her lead single Causa y Efecto for the first time.

Rubio performed live at Univision's Premios Juventud, singing Causa y Efecto with a different musical arrangement.

She appeared at Los Premios MTV Latinoamérica along with Cobra Starship performing Good Girls Go Bad and Ni Rosas Ni Juguetes. She was the female performer with the most nominations.
